An ugly inflation report and the dislocation of the cryptocurrencies market sent again the stock market into a tailspin. The next price objective for the Bitcoin is USD 10'000.-.

We didn’t observe much selling pressure as measured by our buying/selling index or our capitulation index but options traders are piling up on puts as measured by put/call ratios. The list of stocks hitting fresh new lows continues to point out to internal weakness (784 on the NYSE, 1550 on the Nasdaq). Some of our indicators are deeply depressed like the SKEW index or the daily trading sentiment. The weekly survey among private investors points out also that this category of investors is pessimistic as the bull to bear ratio stands at 51%.
