S&P 500 4001 +9,81.

After a volatile trading session in a range of more than 100 points (high 4069 – low 3958), prices, at least, stabilized and closed almost unchanged. Nevertheless, breadth closed on a negative note: 1848 stocks advanced compared to 2571 that settled down. Options traders were somehow less eager than the previous days to buy puts as measured by put/call ratios. Our buying/selling closed neutral as some bargain hunters certainly tried to took advantage of battered prices.
