S&P 500 4400,64 -0,82.

The stock market closed almost unchanged after the release of a widely anticipated Fed statement. Nobody knows how the Fed will be one day able to taper its bond purchase program without inducing a meltdown on the financial markets, we are not even talking of a rise of interest rates…

We observed some buying pressure in the afternoon as measured by our indicators. Most of our indicators are hovering around their neutral level. The release of the weekly survey among private investors didn’t bring any clue as this category of market participants has an evenly split opinion of the future direction of the market among bulls (36%), bears (24%) and those adopting a neutral attitude (40%).
