S&P 500 4411,79 +44,31.

The stock market recovered quickly from the initial weakness observed at the start of the week to close at a record. Breadth closed on a fairly strong note: 2046 stocks advanced compared to 1244 that settled down. Put/call ratios continue to point out to some sort of cautiousness from options traders. The cumulative advance/decline line continues to recover on the NYSE and on the Nasdaq but is still relatively far away from the highs reached earlier in the year, watch out if any divergence of this indicator and prices continues over the next few weeks.
