S&P 500 4463 +51,4.

The first triple witching day of the year had a positive impact on prices as rebalancing of global portfolios led to flows of money into the stock market. We observed strong activity on calls in the option market as measured by various put/call ratios. Breadth closed on a strong note but nothing extreme : 2951 stocks advanced compared to 1342 that settled down. Our buying/selling index is overbought on 12-20 and 30 days averages. Most indexes are back to their respective 200 days moving average, it will be interesting to observe the behaviour of prices as these levels may act as a resistance.
