A quiet trading session in Wall Street during most of the day until a late rally lifted prices towards the close. Breadth wasn’t that impressive as 2295 stocks advanced compared to 1559 that settled down. The same tech names are still leading the pack. We observed again some speculative activity in the options market and some sentiment measures are painting a picture of complacency and over optimism among market participants.
