S&P 500 3145,32 -34,4.

After failing to break out, all indexes closed on the lows of the day as buying pressure failed to materialize despite fairly active activity in the options market as traders are still eager to buy call options. The CBOE put/call ratios closed again below the 50 mark which historically raises a red flag. Systematic models are hovering around the buy and sell signal reflecting the actual diverging forces in the market. The banking sector continues to be one of the weakest spot in the market with the transport.
