S&P 500 4397,94 -84,79.

The stock market closed the week on a weak note, in the wake of one of the worst start of the year since a long time. Various markets statistics are quite horrifying : the cumulative advance/decline lines on the NYSE and on the Nasdaq continue to plunge. 1315 stocks reached new 52 weeks lows on the Nasdaq, 525 on the NYSE. We started to observe significant selling pressure as measured by our buying/selling index, our fear/greed index and our capitulation index. Options traders have increased their hedging activity. Overall, we haven’t observed extreme readings as measured by our global risk profile index.
