S&P 500 4668,97 -43,05.

The stock market sold off ahead of Wednesday’s Fed meeting. Breadth closed on a weak note : 1308 stocks advanced compared to 2952 that settled down. The cumulative advance/decline line is still the main point of concern, especially on the Nasdaq where it stands at the lowest level of the year. The list of stocks hitting fresh 52 weeks lows continues to expand on the Nasdaq, reaching 332 and the difference between new highs and new lows, on a ten days basis, stands at 345.  Options trading was fairly neutral as measured by put/call ratios.
