Over the last two days, the stock market whipsawed before closing at a fresh new high, helped by buoyant corporate earnings. On Wednesday’s trading session, we observed some selling pressure as measured by our buying/selling index. The most interesting feature to report is the weekly survey among professional active portfolio managers that hit again the upper band of its historic trading range. This bullish and aggressive attitude is confirmed by options traders that are piling up on calls either on stocks or on indexes.
