S&P 500 4549,78 +13,59.

The stock market ticked slightly higher although breadth closed almost even on the NYSE and on the Nasdaq. Options traders are still eager to buy calls rather than puts. The weekly survey among professional portfolio managers point out to a sharp increase of the index up to the upper boundary of its historic trading range. In summary, the crowd (professional and private investors) have become very complacent. This observation is in line with the scenario of a large trading range. Time will tell over the next few days if internal momentum is strong enough to clear the actual resistances.
