S&P 500 2681,66 -13,48.

The stock market tried to rebound at the opening, confronting bears and bargain hunters in a fierce struggle, before succumbing at the close under heavy selling, certainly linked to redemption of ETF’s and mutual funds. The market follows, for the time being, the scenario we envisionned yesterday and it may continue over the next trading sessions until the grobal risk profile become attractive. Our model is improving slowly although there is still room before it flashes a clear buy signal. In general, when the model has reached an extreme, like it did in January, it has to swing to the other side before turning positive. In the option market, traders haven’t shown a clear willingness to hedge agressively their positions yet.
