Contrary to expectations, the stock market jumped sharply on Friday as short sellers were certainly taken by surprise. This market’s action helped our indicators to come off a deep oversold level. Options trading was fairly neutral and breadth closed on a strong note: 3515 stocks advanced compared to 879 that settled down. What’s worth mentionning is that in 4 days, the world that contemplated a regional crisis has entered into a global conflict as most occidental countries are arming Ukrainia and Russia has already talked about nuclear arms… Food for thoughts.
