Sentiment among private investors is depressed as measured by the weekly survey among this category of investors, the bull to bear ratio stands at 43 %, historically a bullish signal. Obviously, the fall of Netflix, a loved stock doesn’t help. Nevertheless, breadth wasn’t impressive as 2796 stocks advanced compared to 1512 that settled down. Options trading was neutral. We observed a slight selling pressure as measured by our buying/selling index.
