S&P 500 3225,52 -58,14.

The stock market closed the first month of 2020 on a very weak note with heavy selling pressure as measured by our buying/selling index. Options traders have started to hedge their positions by buying puts and various measures of fears have started to climb after a long period of complacency by a great number of market participants. Breadth was weak: 854 stocks advanced compared to 3012 that settled down and the cumulative advance/decline line has started to break down. In summary, various components of our model have started to improve and our risk profile index is back to the neutral level, a long time we haven’t seen such reading.
