Another quiet trading day in Wall Street although breadth for once was strong on the Nasdaq market. We observed also some buying pressure as measured by our buying/selling index and our capitulation index. The ten day oscillator for the advance/decline has entered into the overbought area. Options trading was fairly neutral with some renewed interest for calls and the SKEW index measuring the slope of the implied volatility of the curve jumped to the highs of its historic range. The weekly sentiment survey points out to more cautiousness from individual investors than over the last few weeks.
