The stock market jumped at the opening on a flow of positive news and touched the resistance area we mentionned in our previous comment. Our short term scenario calls for a retest of the previous highs in the 2930-50 area before a correction/consolidation unfolds. Breadth closed on a strong note: 2799 stocks advanced compared to 998 that settled down and activity in the options market wasn’t euphoric.
