The stock market closed the week on a quiet note. The picture is still more or less the same : internal momentum is rather strong: 2649 stocks advanced on the NYSE whereas 1454 settled down. Options trading was fairly neutral with some buying activity in equities related options. The SKEW index closed on the upper band of its trading range. Finally, we observed some buying at the closing bell as measured by the Tick index.
