S&P 500 4369,21 -15,42.

The stock market digested a second month of running inflation without exactly knowing how to interpret it. We observed some selling across the board as measured by our buying/selling index and our capitulation index. Breadth closed on a weak note: 1091 stocks advanced compared to 3066 that settled down. Options trading was fairly neutral with not much increase in hedging activity. Some of our indicators like the SKEW index and the SENI index improved slightly. The market may start to consolidate somehow ahead of the earning season.
