S&P 500 4712,02 +44,57.
The stock market continued to advance although breadth was lousy Friday: 2058 stocks closed up on the NYSE compared to 2162 that settled down. The cumulative advance/decline line is not recovering as swiftly as prices and is languishing on the Nasdaq market, we insist on this indicator that is, in our opinion, the one to be watched very closely at the moment. Options traders have become cautious and are buying puts to protect their positions as the end of the year is aproaching.
