A very quiet summer trading session with not much to report. Internal momentum of the market still has difficulties to accelerate on the upside as illustrated yesterday : 1511 stocks advanced on the NYSE compared to 1764 that settled down, whereas on the Nasdaq : ratio was 1852 up and 2482 down. Most indicators are hovering around their neutral zone like options trading. The weekly survey among professional active professional managers still points out to a lot of confidence from this category of investors, this is in contrast with the survey published yesterday regarding private investors which is neutral.
