The Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (SGF Conference) invites paper submissions on all topic areas of finance. The SGF Conference is currently organized by the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance (s/bf-HSG), University of St. Gallen.
The Annual Conference of the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research, organized by the Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (SGF Conference) will take place on 5th April 2019 at the SIX CoventionPoint in Zurich, Switzerland. The conference will cover areas like financial markets, portfolio choice and wealth management, asset pricing, corporate finance, corporate governance, alternative investments, risk management, and regulation.

The Swiss Society for Financial Market Research (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Finanzmarktforschung, SGF) was founded by Dr. Werner Rein and a group of Swiss economists in 1986. The main purpose of the society was to promote modern finance and to enhance the communication between academics and practitioners in this new and growing field at this time. To achieve this, the quarterly journal «Finanzmarkt und Portfolio Management» (Financial Markets and Portfolio Management) was launched. Its Editors were Dr. Martin Jetzer, Prof. Dr. Walter Wasserfallen, Prof. Dr. Heinz Zimmermann and Prof. Dr. Manuel Ammann. Since April 2012 the Editor is Prof. Dr. Markus Schmid. Among the other activities of the society are irregular press talks on recent finance issues published in the journal and the Annual SGF Conference.
